MY BABIES CAME TODAY!!

So after I looked... and looked... and looked for these shoes I finally found them on

Lucky me this was the last pair in my size, all of them were sold out within about 6 or 7 hours.

Now all I need is some studded jewelry to match the shoes...

ANY SUGGESTIONS ?!!?! Sites or stores.. doesn't matter, thanks!!

My first haul..

Seen a lot of people that I follow do this so I decided to do a mini one, so here it goes...

DIY: Self Tie headbands

So this is how your final product will look.


What you'll need:
1. 1 yd of fabric
2. Thread to match
3. Sewing Machine
4. Ruler
5. Scissors

Layout your fabric and determine how long you want it to be and the width, mine is 40in X 2 1/2in. Then cut it out so that you have 2 pieces of the same length.

Then, pin the two pieces together [ front sides facing each other] so that when you sew them together they will be neat and lined up together.

After that, cut out two diagonals at both ends.

Then begin to sew!!

Fall Essentials

So Fall is right around the corner and it's about that time for everyone to
put out their "Fall Essentials" list.. just a list of must haves for the fall..
and here is mine:
1. Infinity scarfs (in patterns and solid colors]
2. Blazers (mix and match with colors, mainly neutrals]
3.Thigh-high boots
4. Doc Martin's or any style of army boot
5. Uggs (of course]
6. Turbans
7.Statements jewelry pieces (big pedant necklaces and rings]
8.Harem pants
9.Colored blouses, mix and match styles (preferably over sized]

Design of The Month: Zac Posen

Wow, where to begin?! Alongside Marc Jacobs and CoCo Chanel, Zac Posen was one of the first designers I took the time out to study and get to know his work. The first time I wrote about him was in middle school when I had my first fashion blog. Ever since that day its been love. Im not going to write the generic facts about Zac like age, birthdate, etc etc.. because clearly that had nothing to do with his style, so Iam going to tell you about him in my personal opinion since Iam very familiar of his work. When he designs collections they all relate to each other.. you can see the connection and transition between them. It's almost as if they compliment each other. Below are photos from his Fall 2011 ready-to-wear collection..just a few peices I will leave the link for you guys to check out some more colections. Hope you grow to love him as much as I do.

Fashion Schools

I'm currently looking into art schools that have good fashion merchandising programs and my top three choices are Parsons (NY) FIT (NY) and Academy of Art University (CA). My questions to you guys are : 1. Are they good schools? 2. If you have attended either of them, how is it? 3. Everyone who loves fashion has their favorite designers that make things that they love and that their style resembled, The Blonds are definitely that for me. Two of my favorite designers and role models when it comes to fashion. After watching some of their shows and viewing photos, their style reminds me alot of Heatherette. They use alot of vivid colors, spikes, and glitz. Almost every piece they make is flawless to me or just over the top, which I love! Another thing I admire about them is the fashion shows they produce. Plus, every outfit they put on the runway is complimented with a lovely pair of Christian Louboutin's.
